Italian Aperitifs

The aperitivo, or aperitif, in Italy is a social ritual marking the end of a workday, a moment eagerly anticipated by many.

Aperitivo starts around 6 PM and can last until 9 PM, depending on the establishment.

Colleagues and friends gather at their favorite bars to enjoy the famous Spritz, (I'm sure you've heard about it!) accompanied by a variety of appetizers: from classic olives, charcuterie, to more elaborate canapés and snacks.

In some places, the aperitivo evolves into a full-fledged dinner! Some bars set up rich buffets offering a wide range of dishes, from lasagna to various types of pasta, from delicious main courses to the most sophisticated appetizers and side dishes.

All this at a surprisingly affordable price: believe it or not, no more than 10 euros per person until 9 PM!
